Skyfall: Movie review

The good: The opening shot, without doubt, is the highest point of this movie. I am a bond movie fan because of the action, gizmos, lavish locations and the character himself. The opening sequence is something that i look forward to in any bond movie and this did not let me down. A superb chase sequence with some jaw dropping stunts sets the perfect recipe for more to come but unfortunately it does not. The story is engaging and the spy quotient of the movie remains intact until half time and you could feel the promise of an avalanche of hard hitting sequences as the story unfolds.

The bad: The avalanche never comes. The story tapers and the bad Guy is not the baddest you have seen. Javier Bardem is an acclaimed actor and if you have seen "no country for old men" you will know him play that cold assassin which made you sit up and watch him. Unfortunately he is not very convincing in this one although you see shades of his acting prowess in bits.

The ugly: none

Final verdict: The most unbond daniel craig film till date. Watch it only if you are a fan.
